The faucet manufacturing process can be divided into: sand casting, craft metal mold casting, gravity casting machine or low pressure casting.
1. Gravity casting: Gravity casting refers to the process in which the molten metal is injected into the mold under the effect of the earth's gravity, also known as gravity casting. Gravity casting in a broad sense includes sand casting, metal casting, investment casting, lost foam casting, mud casting, etc.; narrow sense gravity casting mainly refers to metal casting.
2. Low-pressure casting: Low-pressure casting is a method in which the liquid metal fills the cavity under pressure to form a casting. Because the pressure used is low, it is called low pressure casting. Low-pressure casting includes processes such as liquid lift, mold filling, crust (sand casting), pressurization, holding pressure (crystallization and condensation), and venting (pressure relief).
3. Turning sand manufacturing: "sand casting" first put the lower half on the flat plate, put the sand box to fill the sand tightly and scrape it flat, after the lower mold is finished, turn the finished sand mold 180 degrees, put the upper half and spread Parting agent, put on the sand box, fill the sand with firmness and scraping, turn the upper sand box 180 degrees, and take out the upper and lower halves, and then turn the upper mold 180 degrees and the lower mold together, the sand mold is finished , Waiting for pouring. This set of crafts is commonly known as "turning sand".
4. Craft metal mold casting: Metal casting is commonly known as hard mold casting, which is a method of manufacturing castings using metal materials and pouring molten metal into the mold under gravity to obtain castings. Because a pair of metal molds can be poured hundreds to tens of thousands of times, metal mold casting is also called permanent mold casting. Metal mold casting is not only suitable for mass production of aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys and other non-ferrous alloy castings with disordered shapes, but also for steel and iron castings and ingots.
Most of the casting products on the market under 100 yuan and some mid-range products adopt sand casting. That is what people generally call "turning sand". In the products produced by this process, the metal connotation arrangement of the valve body is loose, which constitutes a simple connotation defect such as "trachoma" and "stomata". May not be found in appearance. But after using it for a period of time, it will use water leakage, loose sealing and even greater shortcomings. High-grade faucets generally use gravity casting, the connotation arrangement of the valve body metal is dense, the quality is passable, and the service life is long. For the same valve body, the product weight produced by the two processes is different, and the cost of the data is also different. The gravity casting valve body and the sand casting valve body generally have a difference of about 1/4. Therefore, for the same product, the price is different.
Production process of faucet: copper ingot → dissolution → casting (low-grade sand casting, high-quality faucet gravity casting) → post-cast finishing → casting inspection → mechanical processing → public inspection → grinding → appearance inspection → electroplating → electroplating Inspection→Assembly→Test pressure→Product inspection→Packing→Exit.
